Let me explain, it really is quite simple! You are going to put up a profile that is funny and its message will be simple. The message will be that you are picking out a valentine to spend the day with.

Next take a picture of yourself. Here is the catch, make it a fun picture! Here is an example, have yourself holding a Red Heart saying, “Be My Valentine For One Day!” Use your imagination, keeping your message light and fun! Be up front and let them know what you are offering for your Valentine Day date.

If someone asks why you are single, just say that your life right now is very busy with work, school, etc. and your ex, although a great girl, did not want to accept that your time temporarily is wrapped up in school or a special work project. You have nothing bad to say about her and do not mention it again.

Make the profile fun. Winner gets a full day of activities. Let me treat you to lunch overlooking lake such and such…then whisk you off to play some tennis or take a tour of something in the area. Look at things that you want to do and recommend in your profile, remember you want to hang with someone that likes the same things as you.

There are not strings attached to this wonderful opportunity of a fun filled day. Hey if there is some chemistry at the end of the day, you can both agree to met again. Stranger things have happened. • Take a day off from work on that day and devote the entire day to each other with undivided attention. You can spend time doing things that you both love but do not actually like doing normally

• You can become kids again by gifting each other with Valentines Day cards that contain cute love notes and candy.

• Go to the local video store and rent some of the most romantic movies. Order pizzas and spend the entire day watching movies and having fun.

Taking the day off is a great idea if you have the flexibility in your job. This is a simple idea but comes with a lot of punch. How better to show your love by doing activities that your companion enjoys. You know the things they like pick a few and plan your day. These activities can range from taking a walk in their favorite place, giving them a massage or checking out antique shops, to mention just a few.

Be kids for the day. That is right, the two of you can be kids for the day! Start by making your Valentine cards for each other. Purchase some candies, like candy love hearts and then share them. Make ice cream sundaes or floats! Make sure you have some whipped cream,;) Enjoy!

Here is a great idea, get a collection of super romantic movies, order pizza and get a bottle of wine. Park yourselves on the sofa….need I say more?

Valentines Day ideas are usually focused with couples in mind. Here is a great way to make Valentines Day a family event. This party is simple and fun and something your children will always remember! I started with what I call the “RED DINNER” about ten years ago. I was divorced at the time and raising my five children. The divorce was still very new when Valentines Day came around and I wanted to do something special. I thought I would start a new family tradition, as the children and I began our new lifestyle. That is how “RED DINNER” evolved. Here are three easy steps to starting your own family Valentines Party. Are you interested?

VALENTINES DAY IDEAS

• Set the table with as much as possible in red, pink and/or white

• purchase Valentine goodies/candies

• Serve everything red and/or pink

Setting your table with as much red, pink, white or a combination of the colors is the base. You can do this very inexpensively or as elaborate as your budget allows. I started off with very little and over the years I have collected little things that I use every year. Dollar stores are a great resource!

Purchasing things after Valentines Day for the following year is another great idea. Saving you tons of money in the long run. In any case, you are limited to your imagination.

I purchase a little bit of all kinds of Valentine candies. Personally I do it in my colors or red, pink and white. I then sprinkle the table with all the candies. I also have reusable valentine dishes for everyone so they can fill the dish with the different sweets on the table. I add candles, and my Valentine usually sends me flowers and they are to centerpiece!

Finally, I serve everything in the same colors. I have been known to even color certain food items to add to the effect. Again, use your imagination and have fun!

Valentines Day ideas do not have to be all about couples. Yet with my “RED DINNER” tradition it was easily adaptable to add my sweetheart (now hubby) when he became part of our lives. Ten years later, my tradition lives on every February 14th, you can be sure it will be a “RED DINNER” night!

WARNING: IF you begin holding a “RED DINNER” for more than two years in a row, your children will be expecting it every year!

This dinner concept can be applied to other holidays with slight modifications, so you do not have to save it just for your valentines day ideas.
