Let me explain what I have learned from personal experience. I call it reading between the lines. I found it fascinating to see just how closely my potential date read my profile. After understanding this concept I came up with three questions I want to have answered via actions before I choose to go on a date.

Datting Profile Exposes three questions:

• Are they a good reader/listener?

• Are they considerate?

• How into you are they?

When I say are they a good reader/listener? I do not mean the obvious. Let me give you an example. I had put in my profile that I enjoyed photography. This guy I was chatting with told me that there was a local photography contest happening and suggested I might want to look into it. Do you see what I mean? He did not only read that I enjoyed photography but remembered and when he heard about the contest he let me know. That is just an example but it gives you the idea of what to watch for.

Are they considerate? Here is another example my girlfriend shared with me. A friend of mine was doing online datting and had starting chatting with this guy. One night they got talking about foods they liked and disliked. During the conversation she had mentioned how Mexican food was not her favorite. Long story short, one of their first dates he took her to “his favorite” Mexican restaurant. This example was not so considerate, but will once again give you the idea of what to look for.

How into you are they? This is quite simple, if you are chatting with someone and they just want to talk about themselves….two words, “RED FLAG”! Someone into you wants to know everything about you. Listen to how they refer to what you shared in your profile. For example, I wrote that I loved to travel. My potential date asked me, “So tell me where you have been.” And then he proceeded to ask “Where would you like to go?” Not only did he ask me questions he referred to the things I covered in my profile. He put me as the focal point of the conversation.

WARNING: BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU SAY YOU ENJOY, YOU MAY BE PUT TO TASK!

Before applying what you learn here, are you worth it? If not, then focus on loving yourself first before including someone else in it. I bet you did not think that you could learn about someone and their qualities from your profile. Interesting twist is it not? Keeping these questions in mind while on your quest for Mr./ Ms. Right can save you a lot of time and bring you closer to that person waiting out there for you with your experiencing online datting.

Although taking your own vehicles sounds odd, it really is not. This tip has more impact on women, however it does have its advantages for men too. If you are the female, having your own vehicle gives you a sense of safety. By taking this avenue your date does not have to know where you live until you know this is going to be more than one date. As for the guy, if this gal is not for you, you can say your good-byes without that long and awkward drive home.

Meeting at a neutral location has many advantages. First and foremost, this is the perfect opportunity to simply chat and really have a one on one to see if this is going anywhere. Datting while using one of the many online dating services is a great way to find that someone special. • Maximizing your time- Most of us live a fast-paced lifestyle.  whether you  are juggling a career, children or both, time is of the essence.  Dating sites can assist you in this area.  Being  able to view peoples profiles saves a lot of time. Being able to filter through potential companions through emails and/or phone calls saves you a lot of  uncomfortable dates and a lot of time in the long run.  When you connect with that someone you think might be a good match you can then decided to meet in person.  Whereas the old way, (which unfortunately I was guilty of)  you may be swayed by physical attraction later to find out there was nothing in common at all.

• Less Pressure -Meeting someone for the first time is stressful enough.  Today dating sites give you the opportunity to ask all the questions you want to know via viewing profiles,  emails and/or phone calls .  This resource takes all that pressure and awkwardness  of that “first meeting or date”.   Prior to the internet you  really had no choice. Today,  some of that pressure has removed by having the opportunity to know a bit about the person before you ever meet face-to-face to start dating.

Finding the right person is something that does take time.
